A remarkable transformation! Wife’s parents gifted a Scandinavian couch and chair from the 1970’s, and the furniture upholstery material had not aged well. The frames were also loose, and anyone trying to sit would quickly sink in, deep, and quickly feel discomfort. Tried calling several upholstery repair-shops that could take on the job of updating and refurbishing the couch and chair and no one would agree to work with leather. But, Brothers Upholstery said, “yes,” we can do this and provided us with catalogs of leather options! Our man, Josh, took-on the job and provided periodic updates by e-mail and phone. They even ordered special attachments for their machines to accommodate our specification for the edges on the cushions. The final product was a pleasure to see and just WONDERFUL to use. Take e a look at the before and after pictures and I wish you could also see the fine details and great workmanship. Thank you, Brothers Upholstery, for giving new life to some family treasures … we’ll be able to pass the furniture to our children!

I am very particular about quality since my parents did excellent upholstery once upon a time. I chose an intricate pattern that required careful matching on a wing back chair. This was a 30+ year old chair with "good bones", but needed some spring work and firming up. Not only did Josh deliver a week early, but the craftsmanship is just excellent. Josh and his wife, Angelica, were very nice to deal with. They meet with you in their shop by appointment only, which I found was quite a pleasant experience since all of their attention is focused on you and helping you select the right material for your seats. They were readily available and kept me updated with the status of my order. And most importantly, the seat cushions look great. I highly recommend them. They also do refinishing which I don't know if it's mentioned on the website.
